Daniel Kempton is a bee-keeper by trade, which is strange, since he
doesn't really like honey. "Mostly what they pay me for is to get stung
by bees," says Kempton, who lives in a rental house in the rural hamlet
of Red Range, in northern NSW.
"It all happened before I moved in," Kempton says. "In that back room. That's where they tortured him. They starved him, and beat him up. And they cut off his, you know, his genitals. Then they brought him out here" - he points to the metal beam above our heads - "and hung him from the apex."
