The $US190 million house

A Sydney waterfront property recently sold for $50 million, but in the United States, a house has hit the market with an asking price of $US190 million.

Copper Beech Farm in Connecticut is regarded as the last great estate in Greenwich, and comes with an asking price 30 per cent more expensive than its nearest market competitor, Crespi Hicks Estate in Dallas.

Set on 17 hectares, the farm is the largest parcel of waterfront land to come on the market in Greenwich in more than 50 years.

It's the original home of the Lauder Greenway family, co-founders of US Steel.
